Yasin participated in

• the World Youth Festival in Beijing, in the Arab Youth Festival in Riyadh.
• the Babylon International Festival 1989-1991
• Baghdad the exhibition of Iraqi Art in Rome 1993
• participated in a joint exhibition with Walid Rashid and Ghassan Ghaib at the Saddam Center for Arts 1991 in Baghdad.
• Yasin was arrested for political reasons in 1984-1988.
• He left Iraq in 1994 and settled in Amman-Jordan.
• He set up a personal exhibition at Baladna Gallery ,Amman.
• and participated in many other exhibitions one of them is the Spanish Cultural Institute,1997
• Yasin then left Jordan in 1998 and moved to Denmark and settled there.
• While he lived there, he participated in many exhibitions in Denmark and Europe.
• Yasin decided to visit Iraq in 2013, he died there shortly after a terrorist attack.
